One-hundred and thirty-two (132) announcements, signs and advertisements printed in the workshop of Rabbi Zvi Kopshtik in Tel Aviv, 1920s and 1930s.
The collection includes items printed on paper or cardboard, amongst them: Advertisements for schools, teachers and kindergartens in Tel Aviv; announcements concerning construction, contractors and engineers; synagogues and Talitot; events and the inauguration of the opera building; cardboard signs printed with names of workers and offices of the Tel Aviv municipality (including the name plate of the mayor); food advertisements; periodicals, books and newspapers; names of elections candidates; advertisements for restaurants; cafe menus; various forms, tickets, and numerous other items. This rich, diverse collection reflects the spirit of society and the period. Size varies, 17x10 to 41x25cm; fair to good condition. Most items have filing holes, creases and foxing marks.
