The film "Zot Hi HaAretz" was the first film with sound produced in Eretz Israel. It was produced by Baruch Agadati with the assistance of JNF, according to a script by Avigdor HaMeiri. The plot of the 50-minute film, featured the Jewish settlement in Eretz Israel during its first fifty years, incorporating staged scenes with sections of historic newsreels by Ya'akov Ben-Dov, and sections of "Aga News".
Actors: Shmuel Rodensky, Moshe Churgel, Raphael Klachkin, Meir Teomi, Bezalel London, Hanna Kipnis, Yossef Goland and others. Songs were composed by Emanuel Harussi and Alexander Penn. The premiere was held in "Mugrabi" cinema in Tel-Aviv on February 23, 1935. Ca.94X62.5 cm. Good condition. Stains, creases, folding marks and tears.
