1. “Mizrah”–Amulet. Morocco, [mid 20th century]. Silver, engraved and cut; set with gemstones. Small plaque, with a chain for hanging. From the bottom corners hang two chains decorated with gemstones, and with two fishes at their ends. In the center of the plaque is the word “Mizrah” and round it a pair of birds, a pair of fish, a pair of kids, and two palms of hands (“hamsas”). At the corners: “From this / side / spirit / of life”. Length: 5.5.cm., width: 7.5 cm. 2. “Mizrah”. Morocco, [mid 20th century]. Cast copper, beaten and engraved. Decorated borders. In the center is the word “Mizrah”. At the top is a hole for hanging. Length: 17.cm., width: 15 cm.
