A novel in parts, published twice a week. “The period is the end of the prosperity before the last, which ended in 1925-1926. The heroine is a young immigrant who struggles valiantly with the waves of crisis and hardship of hunger on one side, and pleas from her family to leave Eretz Israel and return to the Diaspora on the other.”
From the preface: “From the first booklet the reader will feel without doubt that this novel is completely different from all the booklets that surround him on the shelves of newspaper sellers, booklets that are full of verbosity and content. This novel was not produced in a hurry and with a view to profit, but from much effort to provide the reader, of any age and status, something that is both good and interesting, the author decided to permit himself a large amount of freedom to make it suitable for all types of readers and so he used an unknown pseudonym so as not to raise criticism”. Eight booklets, 224 pages (the numbering in the books is continuous) Size: 18 cm. Good condition, stains and tears. The booklets are supplied in a nice cardboard box.
