The original English edition of “Das Zauberboot,” a children’s book with remarkable color illustrations by Tom Seidmann-Freud and a variety of movable “pop-up” pictures and parts that can be turned, moved and pulled. When first published this book was considered unique not only from an artistic perspective (it was voted one of the fifty most beautiful books ever published in Germany) but also as an educational tool. With interactive games, moving parts and built-in riddles, almost every page presents an intellectual challenge for its young reader.

A few loose leaves, partly detached, fastened with acid-free tape. Small tears, also corrected with tape. Minor scrapes, stains and bumps to the covers.
