"Sihat Hulin" (An everyday conversation) was inspired by life of the Jewish congregation in Prague in the 16th century. The book was illustrated by El Lissitzky, one of the leading artists of the Russian Avant-garde, and is the first book designed by him.

A "shund" genre novel (Shund in Yiddish: rubbish) – literature of a sensational nature somewhat similar to the romantic novel and detective literature. This genre flourished from late 19th century to World War II. The novel "Sabina" was first published in the Yiddish paper "Haynt" and was very popular. In this edition, the title pages were printed with a different photograph and design from those printed in other editions.
Total of five booklets. 16, 17-32, 33-48, 49-64, 65-80 pp. Approx. 17.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains, creases and tears (mostly small, at margins).
