A folkloristic study concerning Jewish proverbs and idioms about food, in Yiddish. Includes tables and plates (folded). This manuscript originates in the estate of Aharon Vinkovetzky (editor of the Yiddish Folk Songs Anthology).
About 150 leaves, bound with thread, 18.5X22.5 cm. Good condition. Tears and stains at margins of leaves.

Song of Songs, inscribed in a calligraphic script on double leaves. Initials and title page in red ink, single illustration. The manuscript was written and illustrated by Aryeh Berger in honor of his granddaughter Pnina Wallach's 18th birthday.
[10] double leaves, 20 cm. Fair condition. Damage to binding, open tears to endpapers and to title page. Tear to last leaf. Adhesive tape and traces of adhesive tape. A note with details of the writer and the occasion is pasted to endpaper.
