Jean Giono's story "Provence", with lithographs by Moïse Kisling. Ttwelve color lithograph-plates and black-and-white lithographs incorporated in the text (unbound signatures held in cardboard case). Hand-colored engraving on cardboard case. In addition, a portfolio with 12 lithograph-plates of lithpgraphs that appear in the text, a lithograph that was not printed in the book, and a black-and-white print of the engraving appearing on the cardboard case. Hand-colored engraving on cardboard case, identical to the one on the second case.
Copy no. 74 out of an edition of 280 copies. The two portfolios are held in a stiff cardboard case, with vellum spine.

Eleven large drawings and five drawings in color lithographic printing, accompanied by captions. A dedication to a woman who inspired one of the works appears on the endpaper. [39] pp. V, V, [1] large lithograph illustrations and [5] drawings in lithographic printing, 53 cm. Good condition. Spine of binding is detached and damaged.
