Most photographs depict daily life in Ma'abarot (transit camps): living conditions, children playing, women carrying buckets with water and preparing food, and more. Several photographs of merchants and of workers with a carriage and two horses.
All of the photographs, except 4, are ink-stamped with photographer's stamp; some photographs are captioned on the reverse.

"Hadashot Ahronot Yofia BaYamim Hakrovim" [Hebrew: Hadashot Ahronot will appear in the next few days]. Advertisment poster for the upcoming publication of the newspaper "Hadashot Ahronot". Design: Meir Gur- Aryeh (signed in initials). "Leumi" Printing Press, [Jerusalem, summer 1936].
The poster portrays a young, barefoot Yemenite boy, selling the newspaper.
"Hadashot Ahronot" was published in Jerusalem during the years 1936-1937. The paper was founded by editorial members of "Doar HaYom" newspaper, following the closure of the latter in June 1936. The last issues of "Doar HaYom" were distributed together with the first issues of "Hadashot Ahronot".
92.5X59 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Folding marks. Slight tears at folding marks. Mounted on acid free paper.

"Demanding the withdrawal of the British Army from the Country!", a poster on behalf of the central commission of the "Palestinian Communist Party". "Nesher" Printing Press, Tel-Aviv, [1947].
A poster calling for sending postcards to the "special committee of the United Nations" demanding the withdrawal of the British Army from Eretz Israel. On the upper part of the poster appears an illustration of the postcards – on one side, photographs documenting how the British abuse the inhabitants of Eretz Israel, and on the other, the wording of the petition to the United Nations: "The British Army in the country abuses the Jewish Yishuv and the refugees, endangers the security of the country’s inhabitants and is aimed at serving as a strategic base for a third world war. I, therefore, address the United Nations demanding a decision to withdraw the British Army from the country” (Hebrew).
Most probably, the poster was printed in preparation of the visit to Eretz Israel of the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP). Approx.

"El HaYishuv, El Rachavei Hagolah!" (Hebrew). A poster issued by the Jewish Agency, the National Jewish Council, encouraging enlistment to the Jewish Brigade. "Avoda" Printing Press, Tel-Aviv, April 1945.
The poster was printed towards the end of battles of the Jewish Brigade in Italy. On the upper part appears the emblem of the Jewish Brigade and the announcement by General Clark, commander of the Allied Forces in Italy: "We are pleased that we have a Jewish Brigade cooperating with our forces on the Italian front… the Jewish people who suffered the atrocities of the Nazis, are now represented directly by fighting forces…”. Further, the Eretz-Israeli public is addressed: “the Jewish Brigade went into battle, Jewish soldiers are fighting fearlessly… with the Allied Forces… let volunteers join the forces..!”. Approx.
