Pin – Aliyat HaNo'ar house in Selvino. [Selvino (Italy), 1945-1948].
Metal with enamel inlay.
Pin in the shape of a Star of David. Images of a book, wheat and a sickle appear in the center with an inscription at the bottom: "Beit Aliyat HaNo'ar Slevino".
The Children's home in the Italian town of Selvino was active between the years 1945-1948 and housed about 800 Jewish children, holocaust survivors. The children studied what they had missed in school as well as various crafts which prepared them for their arrival in Palestine. Some of the Selvino children made Aliya in 1946 while others came after the establishment of Israel and were received in various Kibbutzim.

18 pins, wing pins and badges of an air gunner who served in the 69 squadron – the "hammers Squadron", which was established during the War of Independence and was the third squadron of the Israeli Air Force, and in the 109 squadron – the "Valley Squadron", which was established in 1951.
Among the items: a pin with the emblem of the "Hammers squadron", an early pin (first?) of the 109 squadron, three fabric-patches, wing pins of a machine gunner, "jump wings", a badge of the Israeli Air Force (for a hat), seven campaign medals (the earliest is that of the War of Independence), and additional items.

1. American stamp with the caption "Boycott Hitler, not Germany", [1930s or early 1940s]. Illustration of a locked gate, with a sign that reads "brotherhood of mankind", and a dog with a swastika around its bdy. A caption on the bottom reads "Nazi Products Not Wanted".
2. A sheet of stamps advertising the "Allies Inside Germany" exhibition, designed by the artist Hans Arnold Rothholz. Britain, 1942. The exhibition was initiated by the organization of German refugees in Britain, the "Free German League of Culture in Great Britain", which was active during the years 1939-1945. On the stamps, a series of illustrations depicting various activities of the underground organization against the Nazi rule in Germany – hanging broadsides, retaliations, sabotage and more.
3. "Help us survive", four stamps issued by the aid organization Emergency Committee to Save the Jewish People of Europe, with an illustration by Arthur Szyk (1894-1951). New York, 1944.
