On verso of most of the cards appears the logo of the business, and some are decorated with illustrations and designed frames. Among the businesses: "Expert watchmaker Avraham Vernikov"; "Special workshop for typewriters 'Ezra'"; "Elegant dresses, Bracha Salon"; and others.
Enclosed: two photographs and an envelope with the logo of the "M. Gamzu photo studio"; invitation card to the inauguration of a Torah scroll in a synagogue in Jerusalem.

A guide with addresses and telephone numbers of stores, factories and businesses in Jerusalem; a list of the various national and public institutions in the town; "a guide for the Old and New City of Jerusalem"; and a chapter introducing short reviews of the educational institutions and aid organizations active in the city. The guide also contains several advertisements for various businesses.
The guide was edited by Yom Tov Hel-Or (1908-2008). In 2015, the guide was reprinted at the initiative of Hel-Or's sons, with a preface in which it is told that the printing house where the first guide was printed was bombed in 1948 and therefore, the guide was nor distributed.
10, 80 pp, approx. 24.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains, including dampstains. Creases and minor blemishes to margins. Small wormholes. Stained and damaged cover, with tears to spine (partly detached).
