Collection of anti-Nazi postage stamps. USA and Britain, [1930s to mid-1940s].
1. American stamp with the caption "Boycott Hitler, not Germany", [1930s or early 1940s]. Illustration of a locked gate, with a sign that reads "brotherhood of mankind", and a dog with a swastika around its bdy. A caption on the bottom reads "Nazi Products Not Wanted".
2. A sheet of stamps advertising the "Allies Inside Germany" exhibition, designed by the artist Hans Arnold Rothholz. Britain, 1942. The exhibition was initiated by the organization of German refugees in Britain, the "Free German League of Culture in Great Britain", which was active during the years 1939-1945. On the stamps, a series of illustrations depicting various activities of the underground organization against the Nazi rule in Germany – hanging broadsides, retaliations, sabotage and more.
3. "Help us survive", four stamps issued by the aid organization Emergency Committee to Save the Jewish People of Europe, with an illustration by Arthur Szyk (1894-1951). New York, 1944.

On May 11, 1949, the United Nations General Assembly approved, by a majority of two thirds, the request to let Israel join the UN, this after it was denied by the United Nations Security Council several times during 1948-1949.

First day of issue cover, "Fouga CM 170, Israel Aircraft Industries", marking the day of delivery of the first plane to the Israel Air Force". Lod, airport, July 6, 1960.
An envelope issued for the ceremony of the delivery of the first plane to the Israel Air Force (the planes were made in France), attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, David Ben-Gurion, who gave the plane the name "Snunit" (Swallow). The cover is signed (in pen) by the then Air Force Commander, Ezer Weizmann, and by the representatives of the French air force.

Some of the checks and stubs were filled in by hand, are stamped and bear postage stamps.
Some checks remain in each checkbook.
