Among them: * Two medals awarded to fighters who protected Acre against the British Army in 1840. The medals depict the Citadel of Acre, the castle of Abdulmejid I, and bear Arabic legends. * A medal depicting the El-Jazzar Mosque in Acre. * A medal awarded, presumably, to Egyptian soldiers who fought in the War of Independence (with a relief depicting three soldiers and Palestinian refugees). * Medal marking the battles in Israel in 1948, with a map of Israel and above it a pair of swords, a church and a crescent. * Jordanian medal awarded to fighters in the Yom Kippur War. * And more.

A decorated shell case. Jerusalem, ca. 1917.
Engraved brass; chiseled.
The case is decorated with a repetitive pattern of pillars, with a star-of-David at the head of each pillar among vegetal decorations. Above the pillars there is a band with the Hebrew legend: "In memory of the conquest of Jerusalem the 24th of Kislev 1918". On the bottom of the case appear the name of the manufacturer -"Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe", the year of manufacture - 1916, and an Arabic legend.
Height: approx. 28cm. Good condition. Scratches. Color stains. Minor bends. Corrosion on the inside.

1-2. Two small boxes made by Alfred Salzman, for the "United Charity Institutions of Jerusalem" (the united fund of the "Etz Chaim" Talmud Torah and the "Bikur Cholim" hospital). Jerusalem, [1930s-1940s].
On the front of the boxes, the Yiddish inscription "Charity for the Bikkur Cholim Hospital / The Etz Chaim Talmud Torah and Yeshiva in Jerusalem" was printed. On their sides, the name of the distributing organization appears: "United Charity Institutions of Jerusalem". On one of the boxes appears the address of the organization in Jerusalem and on the other, its address in New York. On verso, there are kind of "wings" protruding from the sides to attach them to the wall.
4x7x8 cm. Width of back panel: 9 cm. Fair-good condition. Rust. Dents and blemishes. Peeling paint. A sticker on one of the boxes.
3. Charity box, the "Heichal HaTalmud" Yeshiva, Tel-Aviv. [ca. mid-20th century].

4. Charity box with an advertisement for the "Bustan" coffee substitute of the "Gush" factory. Made by Alfred Salzman, Jerusalem, [ca. 1950s].
On verso of the box there are instructions for using the "Bustan" coffee substitute.

Newspaper holder. [Palestine, ca. 1930s-1940s].
A cardboard holder for reading the paper, shaped as a book's binding with a cloth spine. On the outside of the binding, a paper label is mounted with the name "Klein's Lending of Periodicals" and an advertisement for the "Matossian" Cigarette. On the inside of the binding, a bookplate of the "Atara Cafe" is mounted. The "Atara Cafe" operated in Tel Aviv since 1924 and in Jerusalem since 1938.
31.5x40.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Tears along edges. Blemishes. In a transparent nylon cover.

A toy truck modelled as a military ambulance, made by "Gamda". Israel, [1960s].
On the sides of the truck there are an IDF vehicle license number and red Stars of David. On the lower part of the truck appear the inscriptions: "Gamda" (Hebrew and English) and "Made in Israel".
The truck is in a colorful cardboard box of the "Transport Toys Series".
The "Gamda" Company, established by Kibbutz Kfar HaNassi, started to manufacture cardboard models of cars in 1958 and in 1961 moved to manufacture metal models. In the middle of the decade, the company closed down for a short while and in 1967 returned to operate under the name "Gamda Koor Export", manufacturing the "Sabra" brand of toy cars which was intended for export.
4.5x4x9 cm. Good condition. A few stains and blemishes to paint. Box: 5x5x11 cm. Good condition. Creases. Wear to the corners.
