Fifteen "Shana Tovah" greeting cards, handmade booklets, invitations and other paper items, with dedications and illustrations by Meir Ben Uri. [Israel, ca. 1930s to early 1980s].
* "Collection from sketches, drawings and files of the Institute for Religious Art… [1936-1946] and Later", handmade booklet – five prints of portraits by Ben Uri (among those portrayed: Yeshayahu Leibowitz, Martin Buber, Elsa Lasker-Schüler, Uri Zvi Greenberg and others) bound with copying of letters sent by those portrayed (German and a little Hebrew). With the booklet are enclosed additional copies of each one of the prints, hand-colored.
* "The Ark of the Covenant", handmade booklet – kind of "assembly instructions" for a model of the Ark of the Covenant, according Jewish sources and various studies. Includes explanations and excerpts about the Ark, its materials and shape, as well as many illustrations and sketches (most of them colored). [1981]. Hebrew.
* Seven printed greetings for a "Happy New Year" designed by Ben Uri. Some of them hand-colored and decorated. Sent by mail. 1966-1973.
* "View of Acre from Hadar Carmel", engraving. Hand-signed by Ben Uri (on the bottom margin, in Hebrew and English). In a passe-partout.

Most of the items are dedicated or addressed to Frida Sternberg Finer (often by means of the initials of her name).
Enclosed: three leaves from the illustrated booklet "The Wonderous Journeys of Rabba Bar Bar Chana, adapted according to the Talmud and illustrated by Ben Uri" (Hebrew) (Tel-Aviv: H. Lowenstein, 1936).

Collection of printing blocks (most of them linoleum blocks) and proof prints made by the artist Yaron Livay, which served for making the book "Shir HaShirim" (Song of Songs). The book which was printed using the printing blocks before us was published in London in 1995, in a limited edition of 51 copies (Flying Sugar Press).
The collection contains: * 69 linoleum printing blocks which were used for making the illustrations of the book. * Aluminum printing block (for printing the text of the colophon). * Four printing blocks which were used for making the cover of the book. * 62 sheets of paper with linoleum prints, black-and-white, which were printed using the blocks.
Enclosed: * Two proof prints of the cover of the book (front and back). Dedicated, signed and dated by Livay. 1994-1995. * Proof print from one of the blocks. Captioned ("Song of Songs"), signed, dated (1994) and marked "A.P.". * An additional print made by Livay, from his book "Rendezvous with Handel". Captioned, signed and dated (1993).
The artist Yaron Livay was the founder of the London printing house "Flying Sugar Press", where he manually printed meticulous artist's books in limited editions.
Size and condition vary. The size of most of the blocks: 17.5x22.5 cm. Size of sheets of paper 59x43 cm. Most of the blocks are arranged on thick cardboard plates (each plate designated for four blocks), with tissue guards.
