Before us are three sheets from the printing process of the poster – the final version of the poster (printed in four colors), and two additional printings, in which the various layers of color can be seen (with every printing, an additional color was added to the poster).
The final version of the poster is signed in print: R. Deutsch.
3 sheets, approx. 35x50 cm. Good condition. Tears. Small tears to edges. An open tear to the corner of one of them.

"LaAm Bamaztor" [To the Besieged Nation], a poster calling to raise funds for the Yishuv. Tel-Aviv: Shoshani Press, August, 1946.
The Hebrew caption, "To the Besieged Nation - Menachem Av, August 1946", is printed on a black and blue-and-white background.
"To the Besieged Nation" was the title given to a series of fund-raising campaigns of the "Magbit HaHitgaysut VeHahatzala" [The Enlistment and Rescue Campaign], which took place towards the end of the British Mandate. Two-thirds of the money that was raised was divided between the Haganah and the Mossad LeAliyah B [Institution for Immigration B]. The rest was allocated to aid prisoners and victims of the struggle against the British.
29x48 cm. Good condition. Stains and blemishes (especially along the edges). Linen-backed for display and preservation.

A poster printed to commemorate twenty-five years since the establishment of Betar - a Revisionist youth movement. A colorful illustration: a boy waving the flag of Israel, on the background of a silhouette depicting a map of Greater Israel. Surrounding the central image are images depicting Jewish fighters, a concentration camp, gallows, British soldier with a whip, and more. Over the illustration appears the Hebrew text: "Twenty Five years of the Betar Struggle: for a Hebrew Army! For the Liberation of the Homeland!... the Betar Struggle goes on! Freedom of Citizens! For the Termination of the Exile! Jewish Youth - Join Betar!" Yiddish text appears on the lower part.

[Germany and Palestine, ca. late 1920s / early 1930s]. ?Collection of works created by the graphic designer Otte Wallisch (1903-1977), who designed the "Doar Ivri" postal stamps (and other postal stamps), banknotes, coins, medals, posters, logos, and more.?The collection includes sketches as well as final works, most of them in ink and pencil (or mixed media) on tracing paper, on regular paper or on cardboard. Two advertising booklets for the "Aharoni" font. Tel-Aviv: "Arieli" press, [late 1930s]. The booklets contains many samples of texts written with the "Aharoni" font – a font that was designed by the typographer Tuvia Aharoni (1909-1981).
The content of the booklets is identical, yet their covers are different – one is titled
"Aharoni" and the other is titled "Catalog" (the booklet titled "Aharoni" contains two leaves that do not appear in the booklet titled "Catalog").
