"Circling Africa, journey of the naval ship Mivtach", by Yaron Livai. Published by INS Mivtach, 1957.
Mimeographed copy of handwritten and hand-illustrated booklet documenting the sailing of the naval ship Mivtach around Africa at the end of 1956. A large illustration of a sailor adorns the beginning of the booklet with the caption: "Home! When?". The next leaf presents a drawing of a map of Africa with illustrations of the cities at which the ship anchored. The bottom of the first leaf bears the caption: "This booklet has been doubled [stenciled] between shifts by Eliezer Hertzberg". A dedication handwritten and signed by the author appears on the title page.

Long tear, reinforced with adhesive tape, to second leaf. Strips of adhesive tape to right margins of second leaf. The entire length of the spine is reinforced with adhesive tape. "Intelligence report, exposure of a Syrian espionage and terror network in Israel". February 1973.
A comprehensive report surveying the exposure of a Jewish-Arab espionage network headed by Daud Turki.
In 1972, the Israel Security Agency exposed a pro-Syrian Jewish-Arab espionage network, headed by Daud Turki. The publication of the affair in Israeli media shocked the public, mainly due to the fact that Jews were involved in spying against Israel. The focus of attention was on the Jewish members of the network, headed by Udi Adiv (originally from Kibutz Gan Shmuel and member of the Marxist –Leninist organization "Red Front") and Dan Vered. Both admitted during investigations that they transferred information to Syrian agents and told about their trips to Syria for sabotage training. In March 1973 the network members were sentences: the head of the network, Daud Turki and Adiv, were sentenced to 17 years in prison, Dan Vered was sentences to 10 years in prison. Other members were also sentenced to shorter periods in prison.
This report surveys the organization of the espionage network (the organizational model and typical characteristics of the members), the goals and aims of the network, its organization and activities. The report includes three attachments: scheme of the network, "index of the members involved in the Syrian espionage and terror network" and "dates of joining the network".

"National Inquiry Commission – Yom Kippur War", copy of the partial interim report of the Agranat Commision. The report was published on April 1, 1974 (the other two parts were published on July 1, 1974 and on January 28, 1975) by the Commission members whose printed signatures appear at the end of the report: Shimon Agranat, Moshe Landau, Yitzchak Nebenzahl, Yigal Yadin and Haim Laskov.
The Commission recommended the resignation of Chief of Military Intelligence, Major General Eliyahu Zeira, charged Southern Command Chief Shmuel Gonen (Gorodish) with consequential mistakes in the southern front and found Chief of Staff David Elazar responsible for intelligence and operational failures before the war ensuing in its grave results. However, the Commission found no fault in the conduct of Defense Minister Moshe Dayan and praised the performance of Prime Minister Golda Meir.
Following the interim report which has been the focus of sharp debate among the Israeli public, Chief of Staff Elazar resigned, Zeira and Gonen were dismissed from active service and Golda Meir also resigned (in spite of the Commission's conclusions which exempted her from responsibility).
The report is typewritten and mimeograph, filed in binder bearing the inscription "The State of Israel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs".
[1], 33 pages, 32.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Dampstains to all leaves. Creases and slight folds to margins. Minor damage to binder.
