Silver ring (stamped by manufacturer) with engraved Hebrew inscriptipons. [Austro-Hungary or Germany], engraved dedication from 1914.
Parts of two verses are engraved onto the ring: "G-d is my strength" and "Charity saves" and between the two is the year 1914 (the year of the outbreak of WWI. Possibly, the dedication and the verses which are related to defense and protection, are connected to the outbreak of the war).

Silver pin of "Special Night Squads", commanded by Orde Charles Wingate [1938-1939].
The pin depicts a crouching lion on a small stage with the initials "P.L.M." ("Palgot HaLayla HaMeyuchdot"), a moto-ribbon with the initial "S.N.S." and two crossed swords.
The Special Night Squads were a British army unit commanded by Orde Charles Wingate, in which both British soldiers and Jewish guards (Notrim) served together. It was established in June 1938 and dismantled in July 1939 due to the pro-Zionist attitudes expressed by Wingate.
2X1.5 cm pin (without clasp or locking bar). Good condition.

A round plaque with the symbol of the Mandate Police with the inscription "O.C.A" [Old Comrades Association], in an iron and glass frame. Presumably made for fixing on the front of a car.
Diameter: approx. 9.5 cm. Good condition. Scratches and damage to glass, margins and back of the plaque. Two pinholes at margins (for screws).

"Blue Box" with map of Palestine, without the southern Negev, on one side, and on the other side the JNF monogram and a Star of David. On the side panel appears the manufacturer's name.
This "Zion" JNF box with the map of Palestine was in use since ca. 1934.
Approx. 12X10X5 cm. Good-fair condition. Bends. Stains. Rust. Defects to body of box and to paint. The sticker sealing the box is almost entirely lacking.

Beer jug. [Palestine, 1930s or 40s].
A copper beer jug, narrowing upwards. The emblem of Palestine Brewery Ltd. , better known as "Nesher Beer", is engraved on the jug: a bird of prey pouncing on a beer jug and the inscription "Palestine Brewery Ltd., Rishon LeZion".
The brewery was established in Rishon LeZion in 1936 by Jacques Shapira and the Rothschild family with British Army soldiers stationed in Palestine being its main clientele.
Height: 11 cm, diameter of base: 10.5 cm. Good condition. Stains.

A fire insurance mark of the Palestine General Insurance Company Ltd. for hanging on the insured house. Made of iron plated with blue enamel, bearing the inscriptions, in yellow letters: "Palestine General Insurance Company Ltd., Tel Aviv", in English and Hebrew with the company's logo between them.
"Palestine General Insurance Company Ltd." was founded in ca. 1932 and Meir Dizengoff served as the honorary president.
20X14 cm. Fair-good condition. Lacking some enamel pieces at the edges. Rust.

A Havdalah goblet, spice container, and candlestick on a tray, by Uri Reshef (b. 1955). Israel.
Cast brass, spun, bent and sawn.
A modern style Havdalah set, partly angular and partly rounded. The goblet is designed as a hemisphere on a pyramidal leg, with one of its faces spreading outwards in a concave line; the candlestick is designed as a pyramid tilting sideward with one face drawn outwards in a concave line, with an indentation for placing the candle, and the spice container is designed as a globe fixed on a pyramidal meridian half-ring. The vessels are placed on a rectangular tray. Signed on the bottom: Uri Reshef, Israel".
Uri Reshef (b. 1955), silversmith, artist, studied in "Bezalel" in 1979-1983; later on taught there.
Height: 9 to 12 cm. Tray: 33X13 cm. Good condition. Some defects. Scratches.

A plastic doll in the image of Ben Gurion wearing IDF uniform. The doll holds in its right hand a rolled piece of paper with the Independence Scroll. The doll can stand on its head and is marked (on the shoe sole) "Yohanan Dolls, Israel".

An Isaeliana folk work by a soldier, depicting various scenes from the Six Day War. Seen on the case are Prime Minister Levi Eshkol, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan and Chief of Staff Yitzchak Rabin, alongside aircraft. Seen below are parachutes carrying supplies and many tanks, and on the bottom a map of Sinai with arrows showing the movement of IDF forces in the direction of the Suez Canal.

A wooden board painted light blue. A raised rhombus with concave edges appears in the center, with the digits "23" made of Bristol and decorated with glitter pasted to it. Pasted below the rhombus is the word "Israel", cut out of Bristol. To the left of the rhombus appears a figure of a girl dressed in blue and white, wearing a "Tembel" cap and holding a bouquet of flowers.

An embroidered table cloth presumably made by Jewish women from a Zionist organization in Birmingham. Birmingham [USA?], 1951.
A Star of David is embroidered in the center, surrounded by two golden circles and the caption: "Birmingham Women Zionists, Nisan 5711, April 12th 1951". About 200 colorful signatures are embroidered around the symbol and in the corners.
We have no details about an organization named "Birmingham Women Zionists", but it is known that in Birmingham, Alabama, a number of prominent Jewish women organizations were very active, among them "Hadassah" organization that held sewing groups for women.
Approx. 218X169 cm. Good condition. Stains, creases and slight defects. A few names are written on the table cloth in pen.
