Presented are: * Sketches for two title pages in calligraphic script (Hebrew and English), accompanied by an illustration. Ink on paper. * Sketch for a page with the verse "And the Lord said to the fish, and it casted out Jonah to the dry land" (Hebrew) in calligraphic script, alongside a woodcut-like illustration. Ink on paper. * Complete draft of a book, with typewritten verses on pieces of paper mounted on leaves, accompanied by thirteen woodcuts.

Anatol Gurewitsch (1919-2005), born in Russia, studied in Germany, France and Italy and with the Israeli painters Miron Sima and Yitzchak Frenkel. Immigrated to Palestine in 1934, where he painted and designed stage sets and costumes for the theater.

The windows, in the synagogue of "Hadassah En Kerem" hospital in Jerusalem, depict the Twelve Tribes and are considered one of Chagall's most famous works. The book contains numerous illustration plates, in color and in black and white, and two original lithographs in color by Chagall.

Artist and teacher Avraham Yaskil (1894-1987) established the Association of Artists and Sculptors in Haifa and Northern Israel. In the mid-40s, he founded the first museum of Israeli and Jewish plastic art in Haifa.
