Depicted in this paper-cut is the Temple Mount in a schematic style, surrounded by verses and letter combinations: an acronym representing the words "the holy city" appears on top, with the verse "Sha'alu Shlom Yerushalayim". On both sides of the paper-cut appear acronyms "Smu"t" [Sur Mera Vease Tov] and "Atl"s" [Ach Tov LeIsrael Sela] and below – the sentence "Mitzad Zeh Ruach Chaim" (from this direction comes the spirit of life). The paper-cut is signed in initial in pencil, in Hebrew and English, and is dedicated "To Dov and Tamar – with friendship, Yehudit".

Large collection of hundreds of envelopes sent to Palestine from the Russian Empire, USA, and other places. Most envelopes were used, most probably, to send donations. Late 19th century and first decades of 20th century.
Large collection of envelopes with postal ink-stamps and various stamps. Among them:
* Envelopes addressed to Rabbi Shmuel Salant, rabbi and leader of the Jerusalemite Ashkenazi congregation. The envelopes were used for sending donations to Jerusalem, and were sent from different towns in the Russian Empire in the late 19th and early 20th century (ca. 1897-1908). Some envelopes are sealed with wax seals of the towns of origin – from Rēzekne (nowadays in Latvia), Rokiškis (presently in north-east Lithuania), Jelgava (now in Latvia), Kazan, Odessa, and other towns. One envelope is ink-stamped with the stamp of "Beit Va'ad HaKlali LeAdat HaAshkenazim BeYerushalayim". * Many envelopes sent to the United Charity Institutions of Jerusalem (United appeal of Talmud-Torah "Etz Haim" and "Bikur Cholim" Hospital); numerous envelopes are official envelopes printed "United Charity Institutions of Jerusalem". Fabric printed in honor of HaSolel's transition from manual typesetting to a Linotype machine. The title "HaSolel, Palestine company for advertising and publication" (Hebrew, English and Arabic) is printed on both the top and bottom margins. Printed on right and left margins: "In commemoration of the dedication of the typesetting machines at the HaSolel Company, Jerusalem, 18th of Shevat 1921" (Hebrew, English and Arabic). The date of the founding of the printing press appears in the top corners: 12th of Av 1919.
Two illustrations appear in the center of the textile demonstrating the transition between the old and new – The top illustration shows an ancient scribe writing with a quill and the lower illustration shows a worker holding a board with the printed words "This is no legend", standing next to a modern printer made by the Intertype Company. Between the two illustrations are the names of newspapers printed in the printing press: Doar Hayom, Palestine Weekly and Barid El-Yom.
The Hasolel printing press was established in 1919 and became the leading and most progressive printing press in Jerusalem at that time, engaged by most of the daily newspapers. It was located in a street named after the company, Hasolel Street (later changed to Havatzelet St.).

1. Sketch for a shield for Legia Oficerska (officers legion), a division of the Polish Armed Forces in the West (Army of Free Poland) that later on became part of Anders' Army.
Pencil on paper. Stamped with the ink-stamp "Industrial Art Studion M. Gur Arieh & Z. Raban Bezalel Jerusalem". Signed by hand by Raban and dated 15.7.42.
The sketch portrays a woman with a halo around her head, spreading her arms to protect a ship with the legion's emblem below it. Along the margins of the shield appears the caption: "Matce Bożej Częstochowskiej Królowej korony polskiej w holdzie legia oficerska", and the date 25.v.1941.

Two sketches for logos by Ze'ev Raban.
1. Sketch for a stylized version of te Palmach symbol [1940s].
Ink on paper. Signed (twice) with the ink stamp "Ze'ev Raban, studio for industrial art (formerly Gur Arieh and Raban) Bezalel Yerushalem" (Hebrew).
The Palmach symbol was designed by Aryeh Elchanani after a proposal by a Palmach fighter Shoshana Spector. This sketch portrays an unusually stylized version, probably for pins designed by Raban.
21X23.5 cm. Good condition. Small tears at margins and pinholes. Open tear at upper left corner (not affecting sketch), restored with pasted paper. Stains. Attached to passé-par tout at upper margins.

This newspaper was founded in 1927 by Gershon Agron as "The Palestine Bulletin". In 1932 the name was changed to "The Palestine Post" and this logo appeared on the front page until 1937.

Ink on paper. Signed (twice) with the ink stamp "Ze'ev Raban, studio for industrial art (formerly Gur Arieh and Raban) Bezalel Yerushalem" (Hebrew).
The Palmach symbol was designed by Aryeh Elchanani after a proposal by a Palmach fighter Shoshana Spector. This sketch portrays an unusually stylized version, probably for pins designed by Raban.
21X23.5 cm. Good condition. Small tears at margins and pinholes. Open tear at upper left corner (not affecting sketch), restored with pasted paper. Stains. Attached to passé-par tout at upper margins.
