A medal minted for the first Maccabiah, 1932.
Obverse: on the rim – "First Maccabiah in Eretz Israel, 1800 years to Bar Kochba, for remembrance", (Hebrew), in the center – the letter "Mem" in the shape of a Star of David, the letters "Gimmel" and "Heh" and the years 132 (the Bar Kochba revolt) and 1932 (the date of the first Maccabiah in Palestine).
A unique silver-filigree ribbon is attached to the loop, with a clasp at the end.
Diameter: 24 mm, length of ribbon: 9 cm. Good condition.

Seven coins used as currency in the Lodz Ghetto. Poland, 1942-1943.
1. Coin, denomination 10 Pfennig, aluminum-magnesium, 1942.
Obverse: denomination – the digit "10", legend "Der Aeltete der Juden" and a Star of David bordered by two oak tree leaves. Reverse: legend "Litzmannstadt Getto 1942" with a Star of David in the center, decorated with corn cobs.
This coin is of a model minted in Lodz Ghetto but it was archived due to the resentment of the Ghetto commander on behalf of the Nazi regime, Hans Biebow who ordered Haim Rumkowsky to remove the oak leaves and corn cobs from the coin and change the design of the digit "10" to differentiate it from the design embossed on German coins.
2. Coin, denomination: 10 Pfennig, aluminum-magnesium, 1942.
Obverse: denomination – the digit "10" and the legend "Der Aelteste der Juden". Reverse: the legend "Litzmannstadt Getto 1942" with a Star of David in the center.
