The Journal is written in the central column on the leaf, surrounded by interpretations (passages of poetry, philosophy, citations from dictionaries or Jewish sources and illustrations) resembling a Talmudic page. The book is accompanied by eleven original copper engravings by Liliane Klapisch, made using a combined technique of aquatint, soft-ground and dry-point. The engravings are signed and numbered by Klapisch:18/78.

First "Performance Book" by Even Hoshen Publishing, one of the "Sapir" series of Artist's books. 30 copies were printed, numbered and signed by the book artist Ido Agassi, this is copy no. 11.
The "book" presented here includes a brown leather slingshot with a biblical verse from Samuel 17:49: "And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth", embossed in gold, with a stone from the Ella Valley, the site of David and Goliath battle. Enclosed is a small pamphlet with an explanation about the book and the colophon. All are housed in a matching box covered in blue and yellow cloth. 56X13 cm.

The text is printed in "Shir" font designed by Pludwinski in 1998 "to provide the world with a more rhythmic font of the Hebrew Alphabet for use in lyric texts". The volumes were bound with hand-made paper, made especially for this book by Esther Cohen and Nathan Keren and are inserted in a wooden box of fine quality. Enclosed is a booklet with translation of the text into English.
The book was printed in two editions limited to 510 copies (Gematria of "Shir"). This is copy no. 18.
