On the bottom of the title page appears the slogan "Defense Forces in Eretz Israel – for Liberty! For Independence! For Victory!" (Hebrew). The issue is typewritten and includes texts by Zionist intellectuals, the announcement by the provisional government about the establishment of the state, governmental, military and administrative notices, Alterman's poem "The Silver Tray" (Hebrew), written by hand and a column "BaMa'aracha" which reports news from the various fronts.

A text is printed at the end of the issues [photograph of a handwritten letter], written in Arabic in Hebrew characters: "I am Ezra Horin from Tel Aviv…" (Ezra Horin was taken as prisoner by the Egyptian army during an espionage mission in Gaza and was executed for being supposedly sent to poison the water wells).

2. The second book opens with a mounted dedication leaf "With Wishes for a Speedy Recovery…Ketivah VeHatima Tova, I.A. Halevi Herzog Chief Rabbi, Shlomo Goronchik, Lieutenant Colonel, Chief Military Rabbi, Elul, 1948".
3. The third book opens with a dedication written by hand, erased: "To Gadi, for his fiftieth year".

"Hakol al Kfar Kassem" [Everything about Kfar Kassem], a one-time booklet published, most probably, in December 1956, about two months after the massacre in Kfar Kassem.
34 of the villagers were shot to death in this massacre, after breaking a curfew imposed on the village without their knowledge while they worked outside the village.
When news of the incident spread, a gag order was issued, and Knesset Members from the Israeli Communist Party, taking advantage of their legal immunity, reported it on the Knesset podium. Mapam party printed the booklet on its expense in “Al Hamishmar” printing press, and the paper was donated by Uri Avneri and “HaOlam Hazeh”. Among the contributors in the booklet: Nathan Alterman, Dan Ben Amotz, Amos Keinan, Avraham Shlonsky, Gershom Schoken and others.
