Two booklets for Jewish soldiers in the British army, by Aharon Ze'ev Eshkoli, a military rabbi of the British army, who at first served in the fronts of Egypt and Syria and was later transferred with the Jewish Brigade to the Italian front.
1. Missive to the Female Soldier, by A. [Aharon] Z. [Ze'ev] Eshkoli, published with the assistance of the Rescue Committee of the Jewish Agency. Jerusalem: "Merkaz" press, 1945.
A call to Jewish female soldiers not to establish romantic relationships with foreign soldiers – "This foreign man is no 'worse' than a Jew. However, he was undisturbed at all when your mother was butchered". Signed at its end in print: "Italy 1945" (Hebrew).
