A translation of the book Divrei HaYamim by the orientalist David Wilkins (1685-1745) following the Aramaic version by the Amora R. Yosef Bar Chiya (R. Yosef "the blind", died ca. 333). Printed in both languages, Aramaic and Latin, one page facing the other.
[53], 415 pages, 20 cm. Good condition. Creases and stains (most light). Large open tear to margin of one leaf (the leaf is blank). Handwritten inscriptions (pen) on pastedown of front board and on front and back endpapers. Ornate leather binding, with defects, abrasion and wear. Tears to seam between boards and spine. Sticker on back board.
