15 photographs by the photographers Giacomo Brogi, Bonfils and the brothers Adelphi and Konstantin Zangaki. Jerusalem, [1860s through the 1890s].
1-12. A dozen photographs pasted to six thick paper boards (two photographs pasted on each board, one on each side), most probably by the Italian photographer Giacomo Brogi. Not signed. The photographs depict the Dome of the Rock, the Temple Mount, Mount of Olives, Valley of Josaphat, Tomb of Absalom and more. Seven are titled in Italian in the plate. Five are titled in English, by hand, on the paper boards.
Approx. 25X19 cm, paper boards: approx. 32X25 cm. Good overall condition. Stains. Tears and open tears to paper boards.
13. Photograph of a street in Jerusalem, by the brothers Adelphi and Konstantin Zangaki. Signed "Zangaki" and titled in the plate.
14. Photogrpahs of "Ecce Homo" Arch, signed in the plate "Bonfils" [Felix Bonfils].
15. Photograph of the Tomb of Absalom, by an unknown photographer. Titled in the plate (blurred caption).
Each photograph approx. 27.5X21.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Photographs are mounted on cardboard boards and titled by hand on the boards (English). Stains, tears and open tears to boards.
