A handwritten rabbinical court account of a divorce procedure, signed by Rabbi Nachum Ash, Av Beit Din of Częstochowa and the Galil, and by the other members of the rabbinical court. Kislev 1929.
Rabbi Nachum Ash (1858-1936, Otzar HaRabbanim 15844), Rabbi in Nieszawa and Częstochowa. Among the greatest Polish Rabbis and a Gerer Chasid, in his youth, he wrote the Maimonides glosses called “Tziunei Maharan” [which were anonymously printed in 1881 and that’s the reason why some mistakenly attributed this essay to his father in law the Gaon Rabbi Shimshon Orenstein, Av Beit Din of Ozorkow. However, in his other books, Rabbi Nachum explicitly writes that he is the author of the “Tziunei Maharan”]. See enclosed material.
More of his books have been printed as well: the “Kol Teru’a” (Piotrkow 1920), “Zikhron Melekh” on Maimonides (Piotrkow 1935) and more.
