Handwritten letter written on formal stationary of the Baden orphanage – Judisches Waisenhaus Baden. Baden which is located in close proximity to Vienna, the day before Rosh Ha’Shanna, 1938.
“In honor of our dear mentor… we wish you a Ktiva V’Chatima Tova for the New Year, on this Day of Judgment may G-D remember all of your good deeds, which have raised us to a higher level than we have ever previously reached”.
26 students are signed with their complete names.
On the back of the page and in the margins a draft of songs of praise to the Almighty appears.
