Hanukkah lamp with lion decoration, created at "Bezalel" [Sharar Group]. Jerusalem, [1920s].
Hammered brass. Marked in Hebrew: "Bezalel Yerushalem".
After a design by Ze'ev Raban. On the back is a decoration showing two lions lying beneath a six-branched menorah; underneath them are cherub wings and the Hebrew inscription: "These candles are holy". Catch basin with row of oil fonts with two spouts (row detachable). Suspension loop (added later).
Height: 11 cm, width: 14 cm, depth: 3.5 cm. Good-fair condition, backplate partly detached. Some corrosion. Slight repairs.
