1. Pair of Torah finials. [Persia-Iraq or Jerusalem, late 19th or early 20th century]. Silver, repouseé, engraved and embossed.
Pear-shaped finials, positioned on cylindrical stem and a ball. On the finials' body and on the upper part are vegetal and geometric patterns. Six chains ending with a dagger-shaped decoration. A dedication is finely engraved on the finials: "these finials… Haviv Halevi Zair" (Hebrew).
Height: 22.5 cm. Good condition. Some damages. Missing one chain and a dagger decoration.
2. Single finial. [Jerusalem]. Early 20th century, dedication from 1901.
Silver, repouseé, engraved and embossed.
Pear-shaped finial, on a cylindrical stem. Geometric patterns on the body of the finial and on its upper part. Seven chains and bells. Finely engraved dedication appears on the finial: "… Shvat 5659… his brother Menachem… Nisan 5665" (Hebrew).
Height: 21.5 cm. Good condition. Some damages. Missing one chain and one bell. Soldering repairs.
