Illustration of an iron chain connecting several photos: portraits of Joseph Trumpeldor and Betar fighters Shlomo Ben Yossef, David Raziel and Dov Gruner ("di ershte yidishe bontarn" - the first Jewish rebels); Ze'ev Jabotinsky in the Acre Jail; names of Betar and Tzohar fighters who died during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and a portrait of Joseph Glasman, Betar member and one of the Vilnius Ghetto Underground Organization leaders during the Holocaust. On the lower part of the poster appears a citation in Yiddish from the Jewish Partisans song: "Kumen vet nokh undzer oysgebenkte sho - es vet a poyk ton undzer trot: mir zaynen do! ("As the hour that we longed for is so near, Our step beats out the message: we are here!").
86.5X61 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Restored tears. Paint flaking repaired with paper in two places. Mounted on thin acid-free paper.
