Ephraim Deinard (1846-1930) - Jewish bibliographer and author, book collector and book dealer was one of the great Hebrew bibliographers in modern times. An historian and polemicist; Deinard was considered a provocateur who wrote with no inhibitions about controversial topics. He started his literary work writing about the history of Jews in inner Russia, Crimea and the Karaites. Emigrated from Russia to the USA in 1890s. 100 pp, [6] caricature plates. 15.5 cm.
