The letter, addressed "To Whom It May Concern", concerns "Adler Mandel and his family", and states that " This is to confirm that the above-named has been placed on the list of special cases in Hungary submitted to Government on the 28th of June 1944…".
It is possible that this document is related to Israel Kastner's activity and the saving of some of the Hungarian Jews in that period.
