A large vase is seen in the center with branches, leaves, flowers and pomegranates. On the right side a lion and on the left side a deer (probably portraying a verse from Pirkei Avot). On the lower part are two Shofarot, turned upside down, and a flower.
The artist Mordechai Rosenshain was born in 1906; studied in "Bezalel" during the years 1921-1925. Works of his are in the collections of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
Approx. 20X30 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and minor creases. Frame: 31X41 cm, not examined outside of the frame.
