Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim, Maginei Eretz. [Dyhernfurth, 1743].
Dozens of glosses, erudite explanations and corrections, in early handwriting from period of printing [18th century], by two or three writers. In one of the glosses he presents sayings “in the name of our rabbi and mentor Rabbi Leibish (leaf 93/1). Leaves 320/2-321/2 contain ownership notations signed “Yuda Leibish” who notes that the book belongs to “the exalted elderly rabbi, leader and philanthropist… the honorable Rabbi Mordechai”.
322 leaves (originally [3], 322 leaves. Missing title page and leaf of approbations). Majority of glosses cut off to various extents. Fair condition, wear and stains, slight moth damage. Worn and damaged half-leather binding.
