Collection of books from library of the Ga’on Rabbi “Asher Anshel Weiss. Av Beit Din of Siladi-Nadipalo and the Galilee”. All books contain stamps and some contain signatures, notations and glosses in his handwriting.

The Ga’on Rabbi Anshel Weiss (1882-perished in the Holocaust), disciple of the Arugat HaBosem and the Shevet Sofer and disciple and brother-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Weinberger Av Beit Din of Margraten. From 1913 served in rabbinate of Najpalou (district of Salaj, Transylvania). His books, Shemen LaMincha were printed by his descendants between 1969-1990.
