Invitation to circumcision of his youngest child – Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, “I am grateful to announce the birth of my son… and I hereby take pleasure in inviting my relatives to come and celebrate with me in the circumcision ceremony of my son…”.
The Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager (1916-2012), son of the Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager – the "Imrei Chaim" of Vizhnitz. In his youth he already served as rabbi of Vizhnitz Hassidim in the town of Wilkowitz. In 1944 he escaped from the inferno and immigrated to Eretz Israel. Upon his immigration was appointed as Rosh Yeshiva of the Vizhnitz Yeshiva by virtue of which he assisted his father, who also survived the Holocaust, with the establishment and expansion of Vizhnitz Hassidism. He succeeded his father after his death in 1972 and serves as Rebbe of Vizhnitz for about fourty years. His sons are Rebbes Rabbi Israel and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager. His sons in law are the Rebbe of Belz, the Rebbe of Satmar and the Rebbe of Skverrer.
