Passover Haggadah. HaKibutz HaMeuchad, Plugat HaYam [Kibbutz "Mishmar HaYam"], 1940.
Non-traditional Haggadah. Interesting references to the holocaust and three leaves with information about the company (including the names of 36 children). "Plugat HaYam" of the Kibbutz HaMeuchad was founded in Yagur in 1935 in order to overtake the labor in Haifa Bay. During the "Homa Umigdal" operation in 1939, the company established Kibbutz "Mishmar HaYam". In 1946 the members deserted the original location and the kibbutz moved to a new venue which later got the name Kibbutz "Afek". [23] leaves (one leaf appears twice), 16.5X21 cm. Good condition. Stains. Ex-library copy. Front and back cover were attached to Bristol paper.
