The Rebbe Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapiro (1872-1937, Otzar HaRabbanim 6243), among the giants of Torah, Halacha and Chassidism in his generation. Wrote: "Minchat Elazar" Responsa, Sha'ar Yissachar, Nimukei Orach Chaim, Divrei Torah 9 sections, and more. Was famous for his extreme zealousness and his battle against Zionism and "Agudat Yisrael". This pamphlet includes two of his letters which contain sharp expressions against "Agudat Yisrael" and its institutions, as well as opposition to the Gerer Rebbe who was among the chief supporters of "Agudat Yisrael".
