Collection that includes the committee's official documents: Invitations to meetings, reports, etc. all from May-July 1933. The Board of Deputies of British Jews was founded in 1760. In the 1830s, the committee received legal recognition from the government as a joint committee of the Sefardi and Ashkenazi communities in London. The committee encompasses all the educational and philanthropic institutes that operate for the benefit of British Jews in particular and the Jews of the Diaspora in general, at the same time assisting the State of Israel.
