Passover Haggadah, HaNoar HaOved Group, Rishon Le-Zion, 1938.
Stencil. Segments from the original Haggadah and additional texts from the Jewish sources, alongside non traditional texts. The end of the Haggadah reads: “And this year shall bring an end and a limit to the troubles of Israel and we get to root deep into our land's soil. Amen”. Last page tells “The Affair of the Group”. The Group, of sixty members, emigrated in 1935 and was saved from the “nails of the kingdom of evil”. The group settled for two years in Giv'at Brenner, then split – some members went to Beit She'an, some to Sodom, to Athlith etc. Eventually they settled in the camp of Pelugot HaSade in Rishon LeZion, where the Haggadah was published.
[20] pages, 20 cm. Good condition. Damage to spine. Filing holes. Corner missing from front cover, tear to rear cover.
