The Ga'on Rabbi David Luria - Radal (1798-1856, Otzar HaRabbanim 4890), among the giants of his generation. Born in the year that the Vilna Ga'on passed away, and was considered one of the greatest of his disciples' disciples. Due to his great genius he was selected to print the Torah of the Vilna Ga'on and the majority of the Vilna Ga'on's writings were printed by him. Av Beit Din in Bichau. Authored many compositions, responsa in Halacha as well as glosses and commentaries on both Talmuds and the Zohar books.
