Hershkovitz was the architect in charge of planning the addition of a second floor to Dizengoff's house, designed in the eclectic-oriental style. Later on, Hershkovitz was in charge of transforming the building into a municipal museum (the front of the building was altered according to Architect Karl Rubin's suggestion).
