Letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Brooklyn, New York, 27 Elul 1955.

Typewritten on the Rebbe's official stationery, with his signature and corrections, and added words in his handwriting.
The letter was sent to R. Shlomo Noach Kroll. The Rebbe gives him Shanah Tovah wishes on the occasion of the new year.

In the margins of the letter, the Rebbe addresses R. Kroll's involvement in the Pe'ilim (Yad L'Achim) organization, along with his friend R. Shalom Dov Ber Lipschitz. The Rebbe reproves them for occupying themselves with other "nicer" activities, that detract from the organization's primary goal, and offers them blessings for success in their endeavor.
At the end of the letter, the Rebbe writes about R. Kroll's wife, who reputedly had exceptional educational capabilities, saying she must fully utilize them.

The present letter has not been printed in the Rebbe's Igrot Kodesh.
