Owner’s inscriptions appear on the inner side of the back binding: “belongs to Yissachar Duber Zonenberg, grandson of the genius Rabbi Duber from Vilna, brother of the great, holy and well known Chasid Eliyahu from the Vilna Capital”. [He is apparently related to the famous intercessor Rabbi Yehuda “Great Zundel” Zonenberg from Grodno - who was sent to Petersburg in 1816 by Rabbi Chaim from Volozhin.
Owner’s inscription from 1873: “Now belongs to David son of Moshe from Blachowicz in Grodno".
Third owner’s inscription [in his handwriting?]: “Belongs to Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Ha-Levi Epstein".
