Approximately 1,320 postcards presenting Jerusalem and surrounding areas, by various publishers, and printed at various times. 135 of the postcards are undivided. This is a diverse collection, including many postcards of the Dome of the Rock and Temple Mount, churches and monasteries, and various other holy sites of Christianity and Islam; there are many illustrations or panoramic photographs of Jerusalem from different angles and sites in the vicinity. Some of the postcards appear more than once. In addition, some are variants of the same postcard.
