• Refuot HaNefesh, prayers for the sick and his visitors and laws of mourning, by R. Elyakim of Komarno. Altona, [1740]. Two parts.
Separate title page for part II. Part II - prayers and laws for women, translated to Yiddish in Tzene Rene typeface.
Two books in one volume. Pirkei Avot: 18, 37-54, 31-36, 43-53, [1] leaves. Misfoliation. Refuot HaNefesh: [58]; [8] leaves. Lacking four leaves ([8]-[11]) of part I of Refuot HaNefesh. Approx. 13 cm. Good condition. Stains. Open tear to final leaf of Pirkei Avot, slightly affecting text, repaired with paper. Leaves trimmed with damage to text in several places. Stamps. Handwritten inscription (in Latin characters) on back endpapers. Early leather binding, with metal clasp. Damage to binding.
