Particularly thick, miniature volume (approx. 300 leaves). Square script (unskilled), vocalized. With laws and instructions in Yiddish, in Tzena-rena typeface.
Ashkenazi rite travel siddur, with prayers for weekday, Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh, High Holidays, Three Festivals and more.
The title "Tefillat HaDerech" (Traveler's Prayer) appears in pocket-size siddurim printed in Germany and Prague at that time. This siddur may have been inspired by or based on one of these siddurim.
Floral ornaments on last page.
299 leaves. Approx. 7 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and wear. Some very browned leaves. Tears and ink erosion to several leaves, affecting text. Worming to some leaves. Original leather binding, worn and damaged, partially detached.
