Two posters illustrated by Naftali Bezem. Israel, 1951-1953. Both signed in the plate. Hebrew.
1. "Aliya, Security, Bread and Peace." Election poster for the United Workers Party (Mapam). No printer or year indicated, [1951].
Approx. 70X50 cm. Good condition. Stains and creases. Open tears, restored with paper, most along the top margin; two along the left margin, with slight damage to the image (color corrections).
2. "Friendly Greetings from the Youth of Israel to the Youth of the World." Poster on behalf of the "Israel Youth and Students Committee," printed for the fourth World Youth Festival in Bucharest, Romania in August 1953. No printer indicated.
Black-and-white illustration reflecting the ideology of HaShomer HaTza'ir - a Jewish youth and an Arab youth standing next to each other, with a field and villages in the background, and a dove flying above.
70X50 cm. Very Good condition. Some stains. Creases and tears to margins, some reinforced with adhesive tape verso.
