32 items (manuscripts: pamphlets, lists, bibliographies, copies, etc.) of the history of the Landau family from Europe (Optow, Zolkova, Krakow, Brody and other cities). End of the 19th century until the 1930's.
The identity of the writer is unknown, however, it is apparent that he diligently researched the family and he presents epitaphs [some of which are old copies], quotes from notepads of congregations and lists of cemeteries as well as citations from many books.
Among the rabbis mentioned in the writings: Rabbi Yitzchak Landau Av Beit Din of Krakow, Rabbi Yitzchak Charif from the Landau family, Rabbi Moshe Landau who was a member of the Beit Din of Rabbi Moshe Iserlish, Rabbi Moshe Landau Segal, Rabbi Yitzchak Segal Landau as well as additional rabbis. A number of references to the Margaliot family members are included as well.
Approximately half of the material is in Hebrew and half in German.
Approximately 60 written pages, various sizes, fair to good condition.
