Six photocopies of speeches, an article and press releases from the years 1973-1981 (German), signed by Brandt. The documents, each signed on their first or last page, address the state of Israel, the Jews of Germany, the Middle East or Jewish organizations. Enclosed: a postcard with Brandt's portrait, also signed by him.
Brandt served as Mayor of West Berlin from 1957 to 1966; in 1966 he was appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, and during 1969-1974 served as Vice Chancellor of Germany. In 1970 he was chosen as Man of the Year by Time magazine and in 1972 received the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in improving relations between West Germany and the countries of Eastern Europe (the Ostpolitik policy).
A total of 7 signed items. Good overall condition. Some stains.
